SGA’s approach to architecture goes beyond the traditional where only scope, quality, and budget are considered. In addition to recognizing those significant issues, we work to create a strong relationship between the micro and macro environment in which the project exists. Critically important, in our view, is the development of detail that addresses elements on a more personal level, heightening the daily experience for the user.

Programming

One of SGA’s greatest strengths lies in our programming ability and our talent in guiding our clients through this critical developmental phase. We carefully craft clear and concise planning documents that chronicle the history of the design thought process, the recognition of the developing need for various elements of design, and the preliminary planning that proves a design will fulfill all needs. These documents ultimately provide a roadmap for all aspects of the design process, creating a path from problem to solution.

Master Planning

Master planning affords a client the opportunity to visualize on a grand scale the development potential of a project, whether examining phased additions to a residence or a plan for an entire college or corporate campus. SGA strives to consider all options for expansion and growth and can provide master plans that span from the macro environmental scale of a project site to the detail within a specific building on the site – the end result being the assurance that future needs can and will be met.
