Twin Valley Middle School
Additions and Renovations
Elverson, PA
Construction completed November 2008
In
this project, 68,000 SF was added to the existing 125,000 SF Middle School,
significantly expanding the classroom areas as well as all core and support
spaces. The grade structure was realigned and new site circulation patterns
were required as a result. The education design strives to achieve the "school
within a school" concept by centering the organization on a learning
and media center, and the new additions work to compliment and enhance the
existing aesthetic of the building. The addition of two artificial turf playing
fields were also included as part of the project.
