2031 Fishtown

Redevelopment
Philadelphia, PA

Currently out to bid

The Fishtown section of Philadelphia is an emerging section of the City as the gentrification of working class neighborhoods gradually migrates north from the original redevelopment projects in Old City and Northern Liberties.

The private owner/developer for this project sought to renovate a partially collapsed shell row building into a commercial first floor fit-out tenant space and two residential flats sharing the second and third floors. Design amenities included high efficiency heating and cooling systems and a high thermal envelope as well as a rear living wall to afford the rear residential unit privacy on a tight urban lot.
